My first date tips for single men is to make an effort to look nice and smell good. Seriously, it doesn’t cost anything to take a bath and look neat. Shampoo and shave. Wear your cologne but not too much. Dress appropriately for your date and let you date know where you’re planning to take her so she can also dress appropriately.
Don’t be late. If you’re planning to pick her up, then it is advisable to turn up 5-15 minutes before you are due. If you go to her house earlier than that, you might catch her adjusting her makeup or still getting ready.
Take your date somewhere you feel comfortable and a place you can easily afford. I would recommend taking your date out for dinner. No movies on a first date. Going out to watch a movie is not a good choice if you want to have a good conversation with you date.
Be a gentleman. Make her feel special by treating her like a lady and she will think you are fantastic. Get out of the car and hold the door open for her. Hold the chair out for your date and help her sit.
Compliment your date. Like you, she also made an extra effort to look good. But remember not to go overboard. It may make you appear fake and not real.
It is always appropriate for a gentleman to offer to pay for the date and don’t mention splitting the bill. However, if your date insists paying part of the bill then that’s the time you will allow her wishes.
Prepare for the conversation, listen to her and ask good questions. Ask her question to get to know her better and listen to what she has to say. More importantly, avoid talking about past relationships, politics, religion or other sensitive issues.
The most effective first date tips for men is to understand her body language and chemistry for it is your key in the decision you make whether to kiss your date or not. Some women prefer not to kiss while others may be disappointed if the guy doesn’t even try. If you think it’s not the right move then give your date a friendly hug instead.
